Current works
I have always loved sharing a bit of my own perspective through the lens of a camera. At first I relied entirely on my own perspective. Over the years I have been able to add some learned skills and techniques to that perspective. Here are a few of my more recent photos. They are far from professional, but I hope you will enjoy them just the same.
A fall walkThis was taken on a walk in Racoon Creek State Park not far from Pittsburgh |
Eagles NestI liked the way the light was shining through the trees here. This was on a small road trip through West Virginia. |
KenovaWhile on a fall road trip through West Virginia I was able to visit the Kenova Pumpkin house. This tradition has been kept for many years. |
I find that I am very grateful that we no longer have to rely on rolls of film when pursuing a passion like photography. By now my round the world journey would have produced a warehouse full of film rolls, and mostly rejected photos. With digital I am able to carry them around without issue.
ExploreIf you never explore, you will never see. |
First Let'sTake the first step
This is always the hardest part of any journey. There are so many reasons to postpone a move or change that takes us away from the familiar, but we sometimes have to push and make that first step in order to achieve.
|
Now let's WORKKeep walking down that road
Once you have the momentum from the first step, it is critical to let it carry you through to the next step, and the next. Try not to slow down once you get moving, or you may have to start all over again.

IT'S UP TO USExplore
Now that you have put some distance behind you, its time to start exploring. Take in the world around you, be present with where you are and what you are doing. You will find incredible things when you do.
